Amojee ("Amojee", "we", "us" or "our") is a Bengaluru-based local service marketplace founded in 2026. We connect customers with independent service professionals, skilled workers and local businesses for everyday services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use the Amojee website, services and related features.

1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Amojee, we may collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile information and authentication information provided through Google or another supported login method. If Google Sign-In is used, authentication may be handled through Google or Firebase Authentication.
When you request a service, we may collect service category, work description, preferred date and time, service location, instructions, booking status and information required to communicate about the request. For Photo-to-Service Request, you may choose to upload photos or related files that help explain the issue. Please avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.
If you register as an Amojee partner, we may collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, business or shop name, services and skills, experience, service areas, availability, tools or equipment information, business or service address and verification-related information.
If online payments are available, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Amojee may receive transaction-related information such as payment status, reference ID, amount and transaction time, but we generally do not need to store complete card, UPI PIN or banking credentials on Amojee servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use collected information to create and manage accounts, process service requests and bookings, connect customers with suitable service partners, communicate about requests, provide support, verify service partners, process or verify payments, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain platform security, collect reviews and improve the Amojee experience. We may also use aggregated or non-identifying information to understand demand and improve the platform.
3. How Amojee Connects Customers and Service Partners
Amojee operates as a marketplace platform. When necessary to fulfil a customer's service request, Amojee may share relevant information with a service partner, such as customer name, contact information, service requirement, service location, appointment information and relevant photos or descriptions. Only information reasonably necessary for the requested service should be shared. Service partner information may also be provided to customers where necessary for booking and service-related purposes.
4. Google Authentication
Amojee may use Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In for account authentication. When you choose Google Sign-In, certain account information may be provided to Amojee by Google according to the permissions and authentication process. Amojee does not receive your Google password.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Amojee may use cookies, local storage, session technologies and similar mechanisms to keep users signed in, maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve functionality, understand usage and improve security. Some technologies may be provided by third-party services. You can control certain cookie settings through your browser.
